St. Anthony Parish at 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015-1919 US - Answer the Call 2010

Answer the Call 2010

Answer The Call 2010 – A Catholic Men’s Conference on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prayerful, spirit-filled, life changing! The day begins at 8:30 a.m., with lunch and Sacrament of Reconciliation at noon, and ending around 4:00 p.m., following Mass with our local Bishops and Priests con-celebrating. A dynamic line-up of speakers is scheduled, including:

Brian Rooney, a retired Marine captain, national champion college football player, and Iraq war veteran, has often been a featured guest on television and radio shows across the nation. Brian is the Director of Communications for the Thomas More Law Center whose mission is to promote the religious freedom of Christians, time-honored family values, and the sanctity of human life. Brian is also on the Board of the Pittsburgh Steelers, is married and the father of three young children.

Jim Gruden is a lay Pastoral Minister, a Senior Design Engineer, and retired Major in the Air Force Reserve. Although a Catholic his whole life, it wasn't until 1997 that he began to encounter the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist through Eucharistic devotion. The impact on his life has been surprising, amazing, and life-saving. Jim has given his testimony to a number of men's fellowship groups in the Southwestern Ohio area. He is married with three children.

Jack McKeon is a two time National League Manager of the Year, a former manager the Cincinnati Reds, and at 72 was the oldest manager to win a World Series when his Marlins won in 2003. As a child during the Great Depression, Jack learned discipline and to earn everything you get. He is a speaker and writer, with a book called "I'm Just Getting Started." Jack lives with his wife in Elon, North Carolina and is grandfather of nine grandchildren.

Fr. Mark Burger Pastor, St. John parish, West Chester, Ohio, was recognized as one of the most impactful presenters. He will return to lead us into a deeper relationship with Christ and guide us through the Reconciliation Service.

Ticket price is $40 for adults including lunch. St. Anthony Church has a block of 20 tickets near the stage. For more information and/or to make reservations contact Pete Manczyk at 859-261-4314 or email at pmanczyk@insightbb.com.
