Prayer Blanket Ministry

Several people have volunteered to help continue the Prayer Blanket Ministry, which was started by Carol Darpel. Thank you to all who worked with Carol and all who continue this ministry that Carol found so rewarding. If you were involved, or wish to become involved, please contact Sheila Overley at 581-3313.

The Prayer Blanket Ministry involves making lap-sized blankets that are given to parishioners who are in the hospital. Volunteers commit to prayer for the recipient, as they are fulfilling their part in making the blankets, the blankets are then blessed by a priest. Every person who receives a prayer blanket receives a tangible symbol of the love and prayers of the Saint Anthony Community.
