Women's Group

St. Anthony’s Women’s Group

St. Anthony’s Women’s Group meets to undergird members’ family, community, and parish roles and activities by strengthening each woman’s relationship with the Lord and each other. Meetings begin with Shorter Christian Morning Prayer; and our current study is acclaimed Footprints of God DVD series with Steve Ray.

Meetings are held the first Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. in Fleming Hall; light breakfast provided. Those able, join us first for 7:30 a.m. Rosary and/or 8 a.m. Mass. (Should the hall be in use that day, we occasionally gather for meeting and breakfast at a nearby restaurant.)

Example group projects include supporting in prayer and sometimes materially a spiritual daughter in Uganda who is furthering a religious vocation; supporting in prayer a fellow member serving in mission in Kenya; collecting baby items for area Community Baby Showers; acknowledging with cards and/or flowers deceased loved ones, ill members; praying for each other and our loved ones’ needs, as well as vocations, etc.

All women, whether or not a St. Anthony parishioner, are welcome to join us for study, prayer, and fellowship, plus devotion and spiritual guidance from our pastor, Father Ivan, who alternates attending our meeting with Men’s Group meetings.
