Bereavement Committee
The Bereavement committee contacts family members and sets up everything for a funeral mass that may be needed:
- Readings
- Music
- Servers
- Etc.
The Bereavement ministry also takes care of setting up the Undercroft at church for funeral gatherings for parishioners. This is a free service.
How does this service work?
The ministry is notified by Father Ivan and then calls the family to make arrangements. A series of volunteers set up the Undercroft, serves food and drinks, and then cleans up afterwards.
What are the families responsible for?
The family will pay for the food and drinks, but the committee can help with the logisitics and take care of serving everything. The Bereavement committee will provide desserts for the family
Parishioners who have used this service really appreciate the help and support during this difficult time.
Who can participate in this service?
This is available to all Saint Anthony parishioners.
How can I help?
If you would like to become a volunteer and help other families through a difficult time, please contact Rita Jackson for more information.
